5 November 2023

Systems & Services

  • Store Business Permit feature enabled.
  • Mailbox sending temporarily disabled (receiving still works).
  • Personal Store › Search Buy / Search Sale disabled.
  • Campus War (CW) weekly start‐time moved to 21:00 server time.

Premium & Starter Items

  • Duration display for Novice Student Kit premium service corrected.

Item Rules & Restrictions

  • EP items are now Non‑Locker / Non‑Drop: Reform Cards, Sealed Cards, Wrappers, Backpacks, Novice Student Kit, Halloween Packages, all crafting materials.
  • Store Business Permit now requires Lv 235+.
  • Start Point Card & Back Point Card: 10 s cooldown added.
  • Blue Stone Rosary (Ring) upgraded to Unique tier.
  • Tyranny Towers model reverted to its original appearance.

Monsters & Maps

  • Saint Private Airport (SPA) mobs raised to Lv 250; EXP tuned to Mutant Fury Citizen values.
  • Gold drop quantity increased globally, but reduced in: Lost City, Industry Complex, Chaos Island, St. Power Plant.

Ammunition Quality‑of‑Life

  • Max stack size of Arrows, Bullets, Talismans increased (buy cap still 600).
  • NPC buy/sell prices normalised.

Halloween 2023 (Final Week)

  • 3‑Day Costume/Bike odds slightly decreased; 7‑Day odds increased.
  • All Costume Boxes (3 D / 7 D / 15 D / 30 D / 150 D / 365 D) now permanent—no expiry timer.

WebShop Additions

  • Blessed Paper Bundle 7‑Day (×5).
  • Quad Rosary new timed variants: 3 h, 6 h, 12 h.

Miscellaneous

  • General chat cooldown: 30 s.

  • Monthsary Gift Box contents:

New Channel – Channel 1

  • Status: Live, NON‑PK at launch.

  • Progress Sharing: Same characters across channels; no re‑roll needed.

  • Limitations:

    • Buddy Teleport disabled across channels.
    • Marketplaces for Ch 0 & Ch 1 are separate.
    • Cross‑channel whispers allowed.

Developer Note – Channel 1 opened to relieve congestion and provide a safe levelling space. Ongoing monitoring continues.

Content Removals & Fixes

  • Halloween Daily Event concluded.
  • SPA monster spawn issue resolved.

Items & Economy

  • Oblivion E (Gold Mystery Box)

    • Expiry removed.
    • Now tradable.

  • Emergency Potion 5 m added to Cart Shop.

  • Regen Bracelet (Extinct & Lava): Newly crafted versions no longer roll Melee/Shooting stats (existing pieces unaffected).

  • Novice Student Kit now available in 15 D & 30 D durations.

PvP Update

  • Channel 1 switched from Non‑PK to PK‑enabled.

Compensation

  • Rollback & downtime compensation items delivered to all eligible accounts.

Developer Commentary & Roadmap (November Q&A)

The community round‑table held mid‑November produced several commitments:

PK & Party Booming Rules PK protections in SPP, Lost City, Industry & Chaos maps will be removed to curb unattended farming.
Gold Inflation SPA drop table adjustments under review to reduce overcrowding of SPP + maps.
Rollbacks & Tickets Streamlined compensation (choice boxes) + faster ticket response expected post‑maintenance.
Inventory QoL Increase max stack size for arrows/talismans/bullets (complete); further removal under consideration.
Monthsary Event Confirmed – generous reward pool in design phase.
Future Classes Magician & Shaper planned.
Engine Upgrade (Project Hakyo) Long‑term goal: Unreal Engine 5 with cross‑platform support while preserving classic Ran feel.
Black Friday & Holiday Sales Continuous restocks and improved RNG for event lootboxes.
Lower‑Time EXP Items Incoming 1 h / 3 h / 6 h / 12 h options (Quad Rosa & others).
Weekend PvP/PvE Events Higher BTG% and regular Suryun activations to keep weekends lively.

Known Issues (Tracked)

  1. Cross‑channel Buddy Teleport unavailable (design).
  2. Trade history in separate Marketplaces may cause price disparities – monitoring.
